A bit more about flow
Kate, an Interior designer, and Ketie, a Project manager, were introduced by a mutual friend in 2022. Their combined skills complemented each other perfectly and after several successful project collaborations, flow design and manage was founded in 2023.
Kate studied Interior architecture at Brighton University and has over 20 years’ experience working with award winning Architects and Designers on a range of projects in Retail, Hospitality and Residential design. In 2018 she set up at-studio Ltd. Her passion for Interior design is reflected in her work. She enjoys drawing inspiration from a variety of sources such as nature, travel, galleries & museums, books, media, exploring new products and materials and strives to use environmentally sourced products. She loves getting to know her clients and helping them to realise their aspirations and gains great enjoyment when a project comes together.
You can also find her as a guest critique on the Interior design short courses at UAL (University of the Arts).
Ketie studied International Management back in her hometown, Amsterdam. After having spent various years in Spain, she arrived in London in 2005 and spent almost 20 years working in the travel industry in both product and project management, followed by a stint in an award-winning design & build architecture studio.
The idea of becoming a renovation 'doula' came from having gone through a large renovation project with a toddler while pregnant. Ketie and her family found themselves caught out various times along the process. Where to start, what is needed, how to find a reputable builder, not even to mention the variety of questions that they had not planned for and popped up at random times during the build. Fast forward and Flow Project Management was born during the Covid lockdown. Having helped numerous clients through their renovations, she loves seeing how things come together and leave clients with a space they call home.
